The garden is named after Rosamund Arvidsson, who lived with her two children in a house at the top of Longdown Road.
Rosamund purchased our one acre of chalk downland and 18 acres more to protect it from development. The area had historically been used to grow wheat.
Her son and daughter now work with Guildford Environmental Forum and Surrey Wildlife Trust. They work to secure the land for wildlife and to help nurture, what everybody agrees, is a peaceful and beautiful place.
