Get Involved

There is always plenty to do and we would love to have you!

Whether you're a gardening pro looking to socialise with likeminded people or a total newbie, you're welcome at Rosamund. There's always someone to learn from and teach.

We need a mixture of skills and ability levels – green fingers are a good start but also turning compost, putting up small structures, repairing things and moving wheelbarrows.

We are also open to other ideas of how the garden could be used, so feel free to contact us to share your ideas.

Become a member

Anyone can sign up to be a member. For only £10 a year you can have year-round, 24/7 access to the garden, do as much or as little gardening as you fancy, meet new friends and socialise, attend our workshops at a reduced rate, and more.

Becoming a member is a great way to support the garden and the money goes toward buying new seeds.

Without our members' and volunteers' overall support, we could not continue as we are.

Book a taster session

Deliberating on whether to become a member or not? You'd be more than welcome to attend one of our monthly Taster Sessions, run by fellow volunteer and committee member, Clare.

We'll give you a tour of the garden, answer all of your questions, and give you an opportunity to do a bit of gardening.

Corporate volunteering

Corporate volunteer days are a great way to give back to the community.

Though you may be wary about letting your staff spend time on non-work activities during working hours, corporate volunteering has so many benefits for your business, including:

  • Boosting staff happiness and productivity

  • Teaching new soft skills like teamwork and adaptability

  • Giving employees a sense of purpose

  • Enhancing your brand image â€‹â€‹

Community groups

Gardening and spending time outdoors is a fulfilling activity that enriches the lives of so many.

We welcome community groups from all over Surrey to join in for a spot of gardening or get involved with an ongoing project! After, relax at our picnic benches and enjoy a pot of fresh mint tea.
